I personally have not hired this company for any projects. But, I did speak with Jeff, if I remember that correctly. I asked if it would be alright to speak to someone there who was knowledgeable about concrete and asphalt. I explained I am a 52 year old woman who lives alone and I have been experiencing horrific wash outs on my property at the road. I would just take 10 min or less of someones time, if that is something someone would be able and willing to do. He could have said no. That nobody would be willing to take time off the clock to answer a few questions. That would not be very American, but at least straight forward. Instead, he says he would try to help me. Which I am grateful for, but he was rude. He would answer questions before they were completely asked. And I would have to say.... Yeah, but... And actually state that I wanted to hear the answer to.... Bla, bla, I took less than 10 minutes of his time, 1 hr before they close. Not like I was bothering them at 1pm while they were out in the field working a paid job at a customers home. He was real quick with me and as I was saying thanks again for your time and helping me, he cut me off and said, "Yep, yep I have to go now, I have a job". REALLY??? Well, if you're reading this Jeff, next time someone asks for your help, and they're not cutting you a check for the 10 minutes of your time. It would be more professional to just say, we don't have a Q&A department. I'm sorry, we can't help you with any questions. Have a nice day. You were rude. It was apparent you were not clearly listening and basically insulted my intelligence by stating you have a job. As if I wouldn't have already been very aware that companies have employees. And those employees answer the phones. I didn't think I had a circus clown on the line at an asphalt company. Either just say no, and don't help people or be nice while doing it.
