Norfolk Paving and Excavation , Inc

Joe and his crew were highly recommended to us and they did not disappoint. Their work was excellent, and their price was fair. The work was done quickly and neatly with minimal disturbance to our home. We highly recommend their services!

Joe and his crew were thorough, professional and a pleasure to work with. They did a nice job paving the driveway and rebuilding a retaining wall for us.

Norfolk Paving and Excavation has done several driveway projects for me. They are very meticulous on the prep work, which is key to a good, long lasting driveway. They do an excellent job, laying down the asphalt. In both the base layer and the top coat. The crew, is very knowledgeable and very courteous and answer all questions when asked. The owner Joe Fornaro is a pleasure to deal with. He does not try to sell you more project than you need.

Really enjoyed working with Norfolk Paving. Al St. Peter was an outstanding salesman and consultant early on helping us map out our dream driveway and the owner, Joe and his hard working team made it come to life. Fair price, good quality and quick communication. Cant ask for more. Thanks to the Norfolk team!

We had an agreement to complete my project in two stages: first the base layer, and then, after my landscapers finished the yard, he would return to apply the finish layer. He was worried I wouldn’t call him back for the second stage since he said many customers never do, but I kept my word and called him to finish the job. Unfortunately, I regret hiring this company. They spilled oil on my vinyl fence and left my driveway with many low spots. The asphalt quality is questionable—just parking a trailer for a week left deep tire marks. Either cheap material was used or the job was done under the wrong conditions. On top of that, he pressured me for immediate payment, saying he needed money to pay his employees and pay for materials. When I asked about the oil damage to my fence, he promised to send someone over, but nobody ever came. He also gave repeated assurances that he would come back under warranty to fix the low spots, but he never showed up or even called.I cleaned fence myself Overall, I would not recommend this company. Poor workmanship, broken promises, and unprofessional behavior.
