Olshan Foundation Repair

We couldn't be happier that we chose Olshan !! We gave them 5 stars but if we had the option we would have given More. We had already spoken to a couple of people. We called Olshan to give a quote on fixing a 4x7 concrete landing for our front walk that was broken, sunk down and holding water.Jose talked to us about our choices. Rather than the lifting up process we decided to go with replacement. After meeting with Jose- we picked Olshan to do the job because we felt they would do it Right! The office team scheduled the job for 1 business day later.(also took care of the paperwork and payments) The crew manager, Oscar called us on the way to our job, arrived promptly. They had all the equipment they needed. ( Didn't show up in a pickup truck with a wheelbarrow in the back.) Jose was here to go over the job we wanted exactly with the crew. Gustavo, Uriel and Oscar did a beautiful job, addressed things along the way and were Very Professional in every way. It matters who you chose to do the work. Everyone involved was so helpful and professional. They will come today and remove the forms, put back the grass and it will look terrific. Area around the pool steps had cracked and over time started to sink. Contacted Olshan and got a rep to come out and provide a quote. Scheduled the appointment and Oscar, Uriel, and Gustavo showed up to do the job. They were very professional and personable. Explained everything as they went and answered any questions I may have to ensure I was totally satisfied.

My experience started with James Jagelewski coming and giving me a quote for foundation work; very knowledgeable and explained every aspect of what I need for a solid foundation. He never rushed the process and made my experience and decision making an easy one. When it was time for work to begin Santiago and crew below in picture did a fantastic job, very professional. Came in and did all the work in one day. I will continue to use Olshan with any other jobs needed; I definitely recommend.

This review is in 2 parts. First for the technician who came out and talked to me about the work I needed, James Jagelewski. He came and listened to my concerns then spent about an hour and a half looking at my foundation and diagnosing the problems and the solutions. His bid came in less than another bid I had gotten which didn't address some pretty pressing problems under the house that I was unaware of. And to my great surprise the crew were able to start on the project the next day and finished in a narrow window of time I had to get these repairs done. The crew themselves was great too! Reynaldo, Dardy, Donis, Gabriel, Romeo, and Rudi all did great work. They fixed my foundation, installed a drainage system, cleaned out 6 trash bags worth of waste building materials from under my house, and even reconnected an A/C duct that was hanging loose. They really worked hard and the pictures of the crawlspace looked amazing. I am very pleased with how the project turned out.

Awesome! Santiago and Elder came out with two crews and knocked it out of the park. Our drainage nightmare is finally over. I can't recommend the team highly enough for their hard work. Pictures below are of the job in progress. Finished pictures coming soon. Update - just had our first heavy rain since the project. Instead of 6 inches of water, everything was nice and dry! Extra shout out to James Jagelewski who estimated and designed the system for us - he nailed it!
