Terrible paving company. They sent out a notice with the phases with no info of what was going to be done. They just marked the entire street. Any decent paving company would do stuff in more then one phase and their project manager must be incompetent. Who sets no parking signs and doesn’t mark off one side of the road in phases. Do not use this company they are absolutely garbage.

The workers have no common sense no respect or common curtesy. For some wild reason they thought parking in front of my car and dumping huge piles of concrete was A great idea. They even moved my trash cans. I went outside to move my car because I had just got my car detailed. I was so pist I asked them if it was really that necessary to park that close to my car and be doing that ? They are lucky nothing big fell on my car. Looks like they probably fall asleep during their safety meetings. The older man with the beard was the genius driving the bob cat and the one with the grey pants moved my trash cans and directed the dump truck to park there.

Onyx put up sign a on certain streets, in Tustin, to not park, as they would be starting Oct 16th and 17th. The 16th came and went, and I had cancelled two Dr appts, thinking I couldn't get out. They never showed up. On the 17th they came and tore off the asphalt, then put up a sign saying they would complete it on the 24th. They have very poor project management. I called the city and they were the lowest bid. Now we know why!

Onyx Paving Company did an absolutely impeccable job servicing the needs of the city of Rancho Cucamonga, CA. I couldn't believe how structured and coordinated thier movements and strategy was as I watched every day from my house. From the planning phase to the last arrow painted I watched as they expertly directed traffic, blocked out potentially dangerous zones using orange cones and brigades, and satisfied the needs of our wonderful community. There seems to be a few things that were miscalculated however as signs were posted no parking from a particular date range with no action on those particular dates and also sand bags were placed over drains with black cloth to cover storm drains but since work was not on schedule the coverings dilapidated before work began so by the time work did begin the drains were left uncovered. I feel that more communication to residents could have been well received. The only other negative I have for the operation is that they would begin work at 7am on weekdays which is prime time for all citizens to be the busiest at the schools and the area. I feel they could have paused from 7:30am-9am which would have made it easier and smoother for the average citizen to get to school and work.

They tore up part of my asphalt driveway and ripped out part of my parkway plantings to put in a sidewalk for the city. They left nails, wood stakes, and concrete debris everywhere. They also removed concrete edging from the parkway, did not replace it and now part of it has disappeared. For two days in a row they said they would fix it "tomorrow". Then they said the middle of March. I started to clean up the concrete debris myself and was told by a rude and bullying contractor to go back inside my house. Yesterday, I was told I was not a priority, that they had to take care of all the other neighborhoods first, and that they had until June to fix the destruction to my property. Before the work on the sidewalks was started, I was told I would only be inconvenienced for two days. This has turned into a nightmare of epic proportions. None of the workman have any idea what is going on or how to fix anything. My neighbors lawn and parkway has been dug up and ruined and I was told by one of the workman that the rest of the neighborhood is in a similar state of disheval and nothing has been done for anyone else either. This company needs to be more respectful to residents and their property and repair all the damage they have caused.
