My experience with Orlandoscape and pavers has been very disappointing and upsetting! We had the majority of our yard sodded and the sod laid down was in distress and dying. Also, I requested the type that dosen't require alot of sun and we received the opposite. This was verified by Massey Services Lawn Division! I have called Rodney the owner and he has not returned my calls. This is very frustrating, I've seen my neighbors get sod and it's green healthy looking grass. We were robbed, I paid alot of money and now it appears we may have to re do it because the grass is in distress after soaking and watering it twice a day for two weeks! I would never recommend this company to anyone because they are not reputable and they don't care and they take short cuts. If Rodney would communicate with me I may not feel this way but, the fact remains our grass is not healthy and this was from the very beginning after it was installed. I guess I should have raised questions because the sod looked terrible when it was delivered. I don't know if Rodney saw it or even picked it out? Now I'm having to pay Massey Services to try and revive grass already paid for that's dying? This is ridiculous! Rodney should have ensured we received the correct grass and that it was healthy. I should have done a better job of vetting this company! Hard lesson learned! Also, we had new Shrubs replaced on the side of our home. Apparently, when installing a worker broke the water pvc line and didn't tell me. It was right by the new Shrubs put in. So, now I had to pay to get that fixed because the break was affecting zone 4, my largest backyard zone! Please take your time when choosing landscape work! Vet and look at reviews so you don't get taken!

Buyer beware!!! Do not hire OrlandoScape and Pavers. As a State of Florida licensed General Contractor, I have built hundreds of homes in Florida. On April 30, 2026 Rodney Johnson gave me an estimate to remove approximately 63 square feet of dry stacked block wall, repair the foundation and then relay the block wall. In my professional opinion the estimate seemed reasonable and I instructed him to proceed. On May 5th, Jesse from his office called and asked for a 50% deposit which I authorized on my credit card. Around noon two of his workers showed up and asked me what they were supposed to do. I showed them the wall and the issue with the foundation, it was difficult to communicate with the language barrier. Rodney should have instructed his workers. Within a few hours they had removed about 42 square feet of the wall and repaired the foundation. The next day one worker showed up and started re-stacking the blocks, I went to check on him and noticed the wall was severally mis-aligned. He didn’t speak English so I called Rodney to get the issue corrected his response was for me to deal with it. About an hour later another worker showed up, they took the blocks down and started again. They left about 6:30 PM without notifying us they were finished. Upon review the next morning the wall was a disaster. Dry stack blocks are similar in design to Lego’s, they stack uniformly with a set 1” setback from the row below and are designed to stack end to end without cutting. They randomly laid the blocks from a ½” to 1 ¾” setback which is unacceptable and leaves the wall wavy, further they randomly cut multiple blocks which resulted in a 1” butt joint gap in two rows which they filled with mortar, this again is totally unacceptable especially for dry stacked blocks. The blocks were stacked irregularly which caused the cap blocks to be mis-aligned and lastly they did not backfill the blocks properly. I have reached out to Rodney and his team numerous times with

Orlandoscapes & Pavers installed travertine on our pool deck as part of a pool renovation… but somehow skipped the critical polymeric sand step, leaving giant gaps and a project that looks like an 8th-grade shop assignment. Multiple calls and texts to Rodney Johnson went ignored after his brilliant suggestion that we fix it ourselves with a trip to Home Depot. If you enjoy paying for professional work and getting a DIY disaster instead, this is your company.

Very pleased with the work that was done to repair my retaining wall after the 19" rain that Eustis got. They came to do the work within 4 days of getting a quote. They finished the job in a day. The team was very courteous. I have included before and after pictures. The price was better than other quotes I received.

I hired Orlandoscapes & Pavers to add palm trees and sod to my landscape after I had a pool installed. I couldn’t be more pleased with their work. I hired them a month prior not knowing when the pool would be done and when I called Rodney when I needed it to be completed, he and his crew were here the next day with all I had ordered. They were fast efficient and the price was reasonable. I highly recommend them.
