Two brickmasons were sent out to repair my brick stairs and landing. They removed the old loose and chipped bricks, ground out the mortar joints (which took about two days), repointed everything the following day, and then had another crew member come out to acid wash the bricks for a clean, fresh finish. Communication was excellent throughout the project. The work was completed quickly and at a fair price. Also, they kept a clean job site 👌. Highly recommended!

We were looking for a company to repair our 26-year-old porch and driveway, and came across Pat & J Masonry online. In addition to the porch repair and driveway replacement, we were looking to extend the driveway into our front yard which would require a retaining wall. Their past work we saw in Facebook included all three items which was a definite plus. Joe came out after I called, looked over our property, and listened to what we were hoping to do. He took measurements and pictures, and after some back-and-forth Schyler provided an estimate. He answered all the questions I had and we decided to go ahead. After a rain delay, Schyler and the crew began work and worked steadily for about a week to complete the job. During the work we requested a few changes because it was hard to know exactly what we wanted until we could see the actual layout for the new driveway. They listened patiently as I changed my mind and we ended up with what we had hoped for. The whole team was hardworking, courteous, and willing to answer questions. The driveway and brick work all look good and we're happy with the results.

They did a wonderful job on my vintage Ardmore front stoop. It was a tricky job because the quarry where this beautiful blue stone slate came from closed a decade ago. Because of the slate's scarcity, the original slate had to be reused. They carefully lifted each stone and laid them out on a tarp exactly the way they had been placed originally. Then they rebuilt the base and reassembled the stoop to it's original beauty. Good communication, punctual, knowledgeable and skilled. Highly recommended.
