Pioneer Paving

DO NOT HIRE PIONEER PAVING ⚠️ 1 star. Hire anyone else. Deeply regret going with this company. Where to start. The driveway work itself was poor quality and the communication was worse. But the real story is this: their crew left my outdoor hose running when they walked off the job. It ran unattended for 4 DAYS. By the time we discovered it, my basement was flooded. Pioneer was called immediately to report the damage their crew caused. The response? The owner was “out on estimates” and would call me back. (Among other deflections) He never did call that day.....called again. And again. Nothing that day. Received a call from an estimator who had zero decision making authority. The owner finally called the next day — after I had already started remediation on my own dime, becauseNO REASONABLE person sits in a flooded basement waiting on a contractor’s convenience. Let that sink in: their crew floods your home, and chasing new estimates takes priority over responding to the customer whose property they just damaged. That is not a contractor problem. That is a PRIORITY problem. Some say business isn't personal. When your basement is flooded and you are told, "the owner will call you back at his convenience" it's personal for the homeowner. If you value your home, your time, and your sanity, take your business literally anywhere else.

Showed up for estimate & Disappeared. Didn't leave a card or write up a quote. Talked fast and left saying would send an e-mail. 4/2026

Use Robert’s asphalt if you want a quality job! My 5 year old driveway is shot. Too much stone in the mix. Not enough material. Poor compaction spots are sinking and there are big pieces of stone underneath because spots are lifting and cracking. The stones on the side of my driveway have NO footing I hit them with the snowblower and they popped. I had a rep. come to my house he told me it looks great.I know asphalt doesn’t last forever but I expect you to stand behind your faulty work. You were paid 25,000 cash which I highly doubt you reported. 🤔

I recently had the pleasure of working with Pioneer Paving for the installation of my new pavement and the removal of old cement. From the initial consultation to the completion was professional and when the pavement was completed. I was impressed by how clean my backyard patio was. Thank you. I will enjoy it for years to come.
