PJ Keating Company

Booo. Do better PJ Keating. Three lanes down to one. One Hour long delay 5:30 am on Mass Pike . They're still working on the roadway. Supposed to be picked up and off the road by 5 a m for Commuter traffic. August 15 2025

Simple process. People are friendly. Depending on how busy they are you get served relatively quick. And i only picked up re-grind (crushed asphalt) but they have good prices per ton. And it was probably the best re-grinds I've picked up from 3 different yards I've been to. And pretty clean like no other rocks or dirt or trash mixed in. 👌👍

The stone dust is awful. All over the roads, in the air. You can smell it especially when the big trucks disturb it.. have no choice to breathe it in. Your car gets covered when you drive by. When it rains it all drains into the local waterways with the rain water. Im surprised there is no environmental oversight. If there is oversight then someone is not doing there job.

I have a small trailer and just picked up a little over a ton of 3/4 inch crushed gravel for $14. Compare that to the $150+ it would be if I bought it in 50 pound bags at a hardware store (not to mention all the extra work/time to load those bags). It felt a little strange with my small SUV and trailer since I was in there with the giant dump trucks, but they were very friendly and the whole process took about 15 minutes. Never even got out of my car. I just pulled up to the to the door at the entrance to tell them what I wanted. Pulled onto the scale to get the empty weight of my car/trailer. Then an excavator gently dumped the rocks into my trailer. I went back and got the final weight on the scale. Paid with cash through my window and was done. For bigger jobs I'll give them a call and have them drop off a load with a dump truck.

A very professional crushed stone operation. You can buy anything that you need here at PJ Keating, the management really cares about things and they run a Tip Top Shop at all levels of their operation.
