Premier Asphalt and Concrete

We had our entire driveway dug out and re-asphalted. This also required some grading to accommodate runoff. It was a job that had been weighing on us, but it turned out to be quite straight-forward and simple with Premier. Everything went very smoothly, from start to finish. Communication was always quick and clear. Their quote was very reasonable and they did an exceptional job. I can recommend them strongly.

A few months ago we replaced a wooden deck with a concrete patio using Premier (see photos). When I called Premier, I spoke with Ethan, who gave an honest answer of, 'It will be most likely 6 weeks, depending on weather.' Six weeks was the best estimate we received (other companies said months, some didn't even call back, and one in particular put us on a waitlist to just get an estimate...). My father used to own a concrete company for 30+ years (retired), so I knew what to expect with pricing and timelines. For a 400sqft patio (20ft x 20ft), with 3 steps, Premier's price was competitive, and within my expectation. After 8 weeks, I gave Ethan a call, he came over and discussed our layout. An example of great customer service: Ethan was very honest when I asked if we could change the original plan of 2 steps, to 3 steps. He said the cost from the original quote may change (which i expecTed), but he would discuss with the owner and get back to me. The next day the crew was in the backyard removing the old concrete steps (previous owners covered with a deck...), removing some earth, establishing grade, and framing. The patio was poured within a few days. It looks really good! My father gave it a thumbs up. Most importantly, my wife is happy! For those thinking about having work done, I would recommend Premier. Some tips for success: 1. Have your measurements ready. Having a rough estimate of the size of your project will help Premier determine the best quote for your project. 2. Don't hesitate to give them a call to reconnect if you don't hear from them for awhile. Rain is bad...It will cause delays. Sooo, when you get a 6 week estimate, and then it rains for 2 weeks, you can expect the job to be delayed 2 weeks. 3. Expect to plant some new grass. Heavy machinery isn't nice to your grass.

Premier Asphalt poured a new concrete driveway at our home. My husband really liked the responsiveness during the contract phase and especially his interaction with Trudy. However, post work they have been unresponsive addressing poor workmanship at the entry/approach. We understood the curing process would take time, however from the beginning there was, and still is, an ugly patch like “splat” of product that’s not a curing issue. Had it been near the house, away from the entry of the driveway, we’d still be disappointed but would try accepting it, however it’s not a good look and right near the sidewalk. Poor workmanship and unresponsiveness about it suggests Premier is done. My husband reached out to Gary shortly after completion of the work in hopes it could be corrected. Again, this is not a curing issue. Gary responded to text but no action or site visit has occurred. It’s nearly 4 weeks so I’ve decided to share our experience. Overall, the driveway is fine. It’s difficult recommending and not being very disappointed. The opposite side of the entry is smooth and consistent with the pattern of the drive. The pic shared shows the messy splatter of dried product. Not sure how that could happen but it did. The larger discoloration is hopefully curing but not so sure. Four weeks in and the entry (can’t be missed) is disappointing

This is year two of living in our home in Powell. I tried to get our driveway sealed last year, but several businesses were unresponsive or outrageously priced. This year I decided to try again, and luckily Premier Asphalt responded to my request for a quote within a few hours. I asked to be put on the schedule, and within one week of that request it is completed and beautiful! In the past when I have had companies come in and seal it has been done in the blink of an eye. However, the crew at Premier was meticulous. They were here for almost two hours. Price was great too! They will be my first call for all asphalt and concrete needs in the future.
