Public Works Dept Water Div

I am impressed with how well Easton DPW handled snow removal during the recent blizzard, which dropped 31 inches (on top of the 18 or so inches already on the ground). We are very lucky to have such competent DPW staff. The roads are much worse in other towns.

I’m extremely disappointed with the DPW in Easton. They have not picked up my garbage or recycling for the past 3 weeks. I have paid my fees so I am having a hard time understanding the lack of service. Upon speaking to Karen who is the only person who picks up, continues to say the reason is because ‘I have not left my recycling out’. 2 issues with that one I have been leaving both my bins out on Tuesday night for Wednesday pick-up so… and 2nd why are they not picking up my garbage if that bin is out and the issue is that the recycling bin is not out? And shouldn’t they come every week to empty my bins? How can, not leaving 1 of the bins out for 1 week result in them not picking up my recycling for 3 weeks? I have been speaking to Karen for the past week now and she continues to give me this unreasonable explanation and it seems like she’s not doing anything about it. Can someone please help me, who has dealt with this before.

They are very nice and quick to respond to questions. I appreciate this as a recent transplant.

They took care of my road problem very professional and at the time they said they would
