Unfortunately we have had multiple poor interactions with the City of Purcell but this one finally deserves a negative review: we were getting ready to bathe our newborn and saw that the water was brown. Then we hear the pumper truck going (it’s 8pm). Naturally, we check the Facebook to make sure we didn’t need to be boiling things, etc. but it has not been updated. I call the after-hours line and just ask to see if we need to take precautions and the communications lady just says, “I haven’t been notified of anything—you can check the Facebook page.” I ask if the Facebook page was updated after hours and she just says “she doesn’t know.” I’m disappointed that we pay our bill on time each month and all we seem to encounter is random nighttime plumbing issues with no communication, prompt code enforcement on certain properties but not on others, and poor (lack thereof) customer service.

Worse service ever !!! I just called to change a permit for a yard sale that I just purchased 15 min ago and was told that I couldn't do that and have to wait 3 more months to purchase another one which from my part is my fault I completely forgot about a personal matter, but her attitude was the worse plus asked why I couldn't ??? Because I can't, lady, is Personal!!! And none of your business, rude lady , not even told any other choices but, "You can't do that, eh..no, we can't do that" God ! Ridiculous, for 5 dollars I'm not gonna keep listening to that, but change the customer service peopleyou have get people more cheerful ! To start

The City of Purcell put a notice of code violation in my mother-in-laws mail box for brush that I cut on Sunday and planned to pick up Monday after work. I live in Norman and didn't make it down until Tuesday morning to pick it up, mean while the house across the street had debris in front of it for a month when they were remodeling it without ever getting a code violation notice. Priorities seem skewed in the wrong direction

Since moving to Purcell we love the town and people. City departments seem to be well ran. One major problem. Apparently the city council has bought into the plandemic lie. Control is what it is all about. All studies and truthful evidence shows that masks don't work or prevent viruses. Over 99% of people who have supposedly contacted the virus have bee diligent mask wearers. Don't fall for communistic, nwo, types of mandates for your so called protection. They don't care about you. Only you being controlled.

I just got off the phone with the supervisor, very rude. They are charging me for days that I didn't live at the apartments in September and they threatened me to send it to collections. If I moved and have a disability and your office isn't answering phone calls its not a persons fault.
