Pure Hardscapes

Chance Howard was in the beginning very responsive. Now will not respond to a job that I’ve since had to have other contractors fix. Holes in level of pavers; not draining correctly. Mistakenly paid final invoice early and now I’m out thousands of dollars. Really disappointing and lesson learned. Horrible experience. Updated a/o April 9th; chance said he was going to send a check three weeks ago and even asked to drop it off; fraud!!!! Nothing zilch squat; shoddy work getting fixed by another crew. Community just implemented an internal resource online site to add vendors; this company has been added and will never get a job here again. Complete sham and sad to experience this. Lesson learned about paying all upfront; my mistake.

Hiring this company to build a patio in my backyard has been one of the most frustrating and expensive mistakes I’ve ever made. I paid a deposit, and before the job was even close to finished, I was pressured into paying the remaining balance. The moment they had all of my money, everything changed. The owner, Chance Howard, was friendly and responsive at first, but as soon as he was fully paid, his attitude flipped. He became rude, unprofessional, and eventually stopped responding altogether. Calls, texts — nothing. He simply disappeared and left my patio unfinished. Now I’m stuck hiring someone else to complete the work and dealing with the added stress of having to consult a lawyer because of how badly this was handled. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone from trusting this company with their time, money, or home.

Pure Hardscapes completed a beatiful driveway and walkway replacement for our home. Chance and his team, after dealing with the brutal August heat, and a material delivery delay, stepped up and finished the job in a timely and satisfactory manner. The end result has been a fantastic upgrade.

Chance and Pure Hardscapes did an excellent job with the installation of our patio. When I first contacted Chance, he made an appointment to meet with us very quickly. He is very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. His crew worked non-stop and made sure it met our expectations before they finished up. We would highly recommend Chance and Pure Hardscapes!

Beware!!!!! So many issues and concerns with this company. Left unfinished edges on steps (no bullnose), severe grading issues after install (contract said they were responsible), left some areas incomplete ( said he was waiting on material, that was 6 months ago). The biggest issue is that Chance took a payment of $5,000 for Paver Art (paver design in driveway) and when I called the company, they were still waiting for payment 6 months later. Chance never ordered the product. Had to hire another company to complete and fix his mistakes. This is no way to do business!!!!! When looking at the photos, Chance said the job was complete, minus the missing material
