Riley Paving

I contracted Riley paving to chip-seal my driveway, about 1200ft with two parking areas. I stressed the importance of first grading a crown so rain sheds to the side of the drive. I was assured they would: they did not, it has troughs and bowls that hold water that will compromise the tar. He highlighted the low maintenance of chip-seal, with salt killing the soil and no grass growing in the drive: There is a LOT of grass growing through the tar base, both encroaching from the edges and growing throughout the center. I've never seen a chip-seal road with grass growing through it, but we have plenty. He went on & on how professional and accurate his skidsteer operators are, but they broke my culvert headwall without telling me or offering to fix it. I communicated my dissatisfactions and he assured me he would "take care of it".. but it's been well over six weeks and I'm not holding my breath. Riley was the biggest waste of money I've ever made.
