This company is currently resurfacing our neigborhood streets and they doing a very bad job, they are no good workers a good worker doing a very good job, the resurfacing they doing is sucks, if they clean they oculted area like that o MG how they have that place, stop contracting them for doing your jobs they are no good for those type of works, I don't understand why the city contract them for doing they works, I don't undertand why the city hires them to repave its streets, they're supposed to fix them up so they look good, and then they hire a company that does dirty work and doesn't know how to do it.

This company is currently resurfacing a major road in Owens Cross Roads, AL, and it is the most inefficient work I’ve ever experienced. They consistently block traffic driving in BOTH directions for 15+ minutes at a time and cause major delays. Not only is this inconvenient but also a huge safety concern considering this is the only major road that residents can use travel into town for resources (god forbid if there was a medical emergency). I also notice many unsafe practices of the workers.

Reed was task to do some city work in our neighborhood, in Madison. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate. First they leave their equipment in front of our homes during the holidays (when it’s obvious that people will have out of town guests and parking is very limited). Second, they come back early in the morning, start all the equipment and leave it running, while gathering around to have a powwow, smoking cigarettes and being very loud. So now that the entire neighborhood is awake, these guys need to move on and bring their equipment back to the front of our homes for the night. Oh and their patch jobs.... we you think that a kindergartner pour and “smoothed” the concrete. Absolutely ridiculous. The job is awful and only created a worse problem in these Madison streets, paved with garbage.

Reed came to our neighborhood, destroyed our street in 4 days, then left with no explanation. Their people threw trash in our yard, on our sidewalks, and at our dogs. The street, which didn't need any construction at all, has waves in the street, already has cracks and chunks of blacktop everywhere, and doesn't meet the height of the sidewalks, which is destroying everybody's front bumpers. Additionally, all of this work was done by one person operating a machine while no less than 6 people stood around doing nothing and watched, while smoking and throwing cans at our dogs over our fence. Huntsville tax dollars at work.

Reed is a wonderful company. No complaints about any of the work I’ve seen them do, and they’ve done a fair share of it at my job site. However, one of their dump trucks shot gravel all over my windshield leaving little cracks all in it. I understand that is a road hazard and by no means intentional, but when I call Reed and speak to someone, he tells me that he will check into it and call me back. 2 weeks later, no return phone call. Nothing. Screw my kids safety I guess.
