Rogers Group Inc. - Oak Ridge Quarry & Asphalt

We have used this company for years, to load gravel. After my 70 year old father drove all the way out there, they refused to put gravel in his truck because they say people complain about scratching their truck, and now require a trailer. We found a new company that we will be going to from now on. All they need to do is post a sign or sign a waiver but they refused us service anyway. Bye for good. It is rare I give a low rating

I love out here off sulphur springs and they have done a fantastic job with the roads. The big thing that got me was my approach from the road was done so well. It's smooth as butter pulling in now. Very appreciative of the work. Would love to hire them to pave my driveway that good too! Thank you for what y'all are doing for our community!

The company has been paving my neighborhood for almost a month. As apart of the City of Knoxville paving contract worth over 10mil. I just have to say. They literally give no warnings. They are not considerate of "every day people" that actually have to leave their homes to go to work or take their kids to school. They dug out our street (no big deal) but they took about 6 inches more than they should have which created a nightmare on my road and for my neighbors like myself that have awkward driveways. They did not fill the gap all the way between the road our driveways. I have a 4 inch drop from my driveway to the road which is insane for low sitting vehicles. They literally want the neighborhood to conform to "their" working habits but that is not how it works. Be more courteous of others and their time. Be more respectful when a person asks a question. Don't just shrug your shoulders like you don't care. The questions are asked or statements are made for a reason. Just be kind humans and do your job correctly. Don't leave it worse than you found it.

I hired the Rogers Group to deliver some #57 gravel to refresh my driveway. The man who delivered was timely and professional. He dumped the gravel down my straight driveway for me so now I only have a smaller area to spread the rest. My kids and I were impressed with his smooth skills. What a timesaver for me! Which is a huge blessing to me right now!!! So thankful!!! Great price for a truckload!

I started my day off at Bluewater industries off of the raccoon Valley exit and got around 2.5 tons of gravel for a little over $70. Since I was making multiple runs today I decided to call around and price shop. Rogers group had better pricing. The employees were very helpful and gave me a map and explained in depth where to pick up the rock. I never waited more than 2 to 3 minutes for an employee to show up and fill my trailer which is greatly appreciated as time is money. I was able to save around $20 per run by visiting Rogers Group which is even closer to my house. You can clearly see in my driveway the difference in the quality of rock from Bluewater industries and Rogers group. Rogers group had better quality gravel in my opinion. I will be letting my friend know, who sent me to Bluewater industries, that he needs to start taking his business to Rogers group. Thanks for being fair on your pricing and having such an effective, polite staff. 5 stars well earned ~!~
