Flaggers using a slow sign to attempt to stop traffic building the new bypass in Portland. And get mad when people don't stop.

Our church was looking to get the parking lot blacktopped. Luke Sims with Scotty’s came out in a very quick manner, and within a few days had an awesome bid. The parking lot was paved in a quick turnaround time and Scotty’s and Luke both have been great from beginning to end. Give Luke with Scotty’s a call if you want the best service possible!

If you want to have people working on public roads or your projects that are unprofessional, this is your company. I was coming from 1-65 (Natcher) @ 7:30 pm on 8/21/25 to the Plano exit, and a large orange haired woman walked to my car with a stop sign. I realized there was construction…she stayed in front of me yelling to her another lady of whether me and the traffic backed up all the way to the highway should go. She waited for the light to turn green and red FOUR times until the tractor trailers started honking. My light turns red and she walks back across the road and motions for me to go on red. I’m confused-why wait til my light is red. She started screaming at me to go. I have never witnessed such a cluster and I’ve been in a lot of construction (I travel). She’s going to cause a bad accident not knowing how to signal traffic. Do your employees get trained at all? It was a dangerous situation for all.

Scotty's is doing work on 68/80 and has placed a large electronic sign right at the end of my driveway blocking my view of traffic that is coming up over a hill. It was already a dangerous place to pull out of and now they have made it downright deadly. I've contacted them via their web site, after almost being hit by a car while I was pulling out, and I've gotten zero response. Below is a photo of my view from my driveway now. They have zero regard for public safety! If I am involved in an accident due to this I'm sure a lawyer will have a field day with it.
