Just had my driveway done today. And they did a tremendous job. They took there time measured more than once. So they were on point wit it all the way. Shout out to Joe and his crew. I would recommend using his company,especially if u live in da Utica area. Trust me u won’t regret it.

I hired this company to blacktop my driveway, and the experience turned into a nightmare. The driveway was done in the morning, and shortly after, rain washed the fresh sealer/asphalt residue all the way down my brand-new sidewalk and apron that were installed in Summer 2024. The black material stained not only my property, but also spread into the surrounding area. When I contacted the contractor, I was told the weather was “not his responsibility” and that he had a disclaimer on his website which is non-existent. Instead of taking accountability at first and involving insurance, later on only solution offered was to seal coat everything black to “blend it in.” I was told that he’d come back with a pressure washer and clean up the spillage that extended out of my driveway onto neighboring properties. The company never showed back up and left a mess. That is absolutely not what I paid for or wanted. A simple $400 driveway job has now potentially turned into thousands of dollars in concrete replacement costs. I’m left either living with a horrible-looking sidewalk/apron or paying for new concrete work out of pocket. The communication after the damage was disappointing, and I feel completely let down by the lack of responsibility taken for the outcome. I can say that Joe tried to make it right but it was to late by then I felt like the weather should be on watch all day before starting the job. I recheck the weather directly after this job was done and it said 90% precipitation so it wasn’t just a freak accident. It rained 3 times this day. Customers should not have to monitor the weather themselves after hiring a professional contractor. Make sure that a contract is always provided and NEVER pay cash. Only cashier checks. Expensive lesson learned. BUYER BEWARE before hiring this company!

I reached out to Joe at Seal Rite towards the end of the winter inregards to paving a driveway and as soon as the weather broke he was here giving me a estimate and within a few weeks later here paving and did a wonderful job. Thats the kind of service and turn around time I like 👍

I recently hired Seal Rite to install a driveway ramp because my driveway was about three inches lower than the garage, creating a harsh bump every time we pulled in. They did a fantastic job building a smooth, seamless ramp that completely eliminated the issue. They also sealed the entire driveway, and it looks absolutely great—clean, sharp, and professionally done. Joe's crew did an excellent job! Granted there turned out to be some hiccups along the way, however they professionally finished the project as promised. I would highly recommend them.
