Select Pavers Inc

Luis and the entire team at Select Pavers Inc. exceeded every expectation. From the initial consultation through the final installation, they were professional, honest, reliable, and delivered exceptional craftsmanship. The attention to detail and quality of the work completely transformed the front of the home. The new paver driveway and hardscape created incredible curb appeal. When we put the house on the market, the improvements helped make an outstanding first impression, and the home ultimately sold for $150,000 over the asking price. We truly believe the beautiful work Luis and his team did played a major role in that success. If you’re looking for a company that takes pride in its work, communicates well, and delivers amazing results at a fair price, look no further than Select Pavers Inc. I recommend Luis without hesitation and will absolutely refer him to my friends, family, and real estate clients. Five stars all the way!

Luiz Cardoso, the owner of Select Pavers, is a pleasure to work with. He is very experienced. He understands your vision and then works thoughtfully to bring it to fruition. He is very reliable and delivers on what he promises. Not only that, he goes above and beyond to complete the job. For example, when PG&E came to redo our driveway which they broke to upgrade our panel, they broke the drainage pipe from the back yard. I called Luiz, he not only showed up from another work sight, he worked with PGE contractor to fix the problem. He was under no obligation to help me but he did it. The sense of relief and peace I felt, I can’t describe in words. That’s the kind of person he is. I will highly recommend this company if you are in need of a hardscape contractor. You will be very happy with the results. For lighting, Neto of Golden Space did an incredible job!! Luiz and Neto made a great team in transforming our front, back, and side yards into something we are going to enjoy for years to come.

Luiz and crew went above and beyond on our project and were flexible with our growing scope after the project started. I interviewed several contractors and felt that Luiz really listened and understood my vision, was receptive to my ideas and also very knowledgeable. I also appreciated his level of detail. We did a full paver driveway incl. Extension that transformed a single driveway to double driveway, redid our walkway, new patio areas and turf. The finished product is both practical and looks amazing. We love it. Our dog loves it. And the neighbors seem to really love it too!

Luiz is hands down one of the best contractors I’ve ever worked with. Communication was clear and straightforward, pricing was transparent and fair, and most importantly, the entire team was respectful throughout the process. I chose Select Pavers after interviewing 4–5 paving contractors, and it turned out to be the best decision I made. The team is very well equipped and works with impressive efficiency. During demolition, they removed several trees with stumps—work that other paver contractors were unwilling or unable to take on. On top of that, Luiz went beyond the original scope to help with additional items, which I genuinely appreciated. They listened carefully, thought through details from the client’s perspective, and offered practical solutions whenever issues came up. I especially valued that they focused on doing things the right way / the smart way, not just the fast way. I’m particularly happy with the curved stair extension. Extending an existing stair is more complex than building a new one, yet they executed it beautifully. The attention to structural details and craftsmanship really shows - truly become a piece of art that highlights our backyard. Thank you for making that happen! Overall, the entire process was very well managed. Luiz was responsive, professional, and helpful from start to finish. I would confidently recommend Select Pavers to friends, will share more photos once the landscaping is finished~

I hired Select Pavers to excavate my driveway, remove the old concrete, and clear out excess dirt. (They also did a previous job for me six years ago.) They came well-prepared with top-quality equipment! I also had them coordinate the pouring of the new concrete once the forms and rebar were ready, and everything went seamlessly. I could text the owner directly with any questions, and he always responded promptly. They were on time, efficient, hard-working, and professional. The owner also offered to help with the labor involved in prepping the driveway, which was incredibly helpful since I didn’t use a general contractor. I worked directly with Luis, the owner of Select Pavers, who was recommended by a mutual friend (a contractor engineer). He’s a fantastic business owner—very friendly, knowledgeable, and connected with the best concrete finishers in the industry, in my opinion. The price was fair and competitive, and I’m confident he can save you money compared to working with larger contracting companies.
