Shamrock Paving Co

They were hired by the county to do a "chipseal" on Stratford Rd North of Moses Lake, What was to be a 50 day project per the county manager and the foreman out there has turned into a 7 Month+ tear the 3 miles of road out and leave us doing a 10 mile detour daily, adding 120 miles weekly to my commute alone with no updates for the locals and still no asphalt laid down. This is a rural country road that was in excellent shape before they started.

Shamrock Paving is very insufferable as they spread misinformation, are rude, and don’t simply do do their work. We received a letter in July saying they would work from August to early October. In September I have multiple videos and pictures of them doing nothing, 5 of them smoking doing nothing, 3 of them on their phones doing nothing, and them breaking a pipe and just starting at it all on camera. Because of that and them taking a “2 week break” we also got talked to by someone who said “usually my manager does this but i’m here instead” and he proceeded to tell us all wrong information. Here we are October 14th and they are just starting to pave. But in every letter we received on October 9th saying they were starting paving, they never mentioned how we weren’t going to be able to even walk on the road and not even leave our house. Long story short Cody Rettke does not know how to run an efficient, fast, and correct paving company. Feel like this picture really represents Shamrock Paving.

This company is a joke. They showed up on Friday when not supposed to be on this street working tell the following Monday. Next thing l know they have someone weed whacking between my cars and the curb, which shot mud and rocks along my cars leaving a mess of chipped paint and debris down the sides of my vehicles. After calling and getting no where Monday came and are cars where off the road all day. Well guess what Tuesday came and at a little after 7am there's a knock at the door and its a guy asking us to move are cars so they can work. We asked why when work was scheduled for Monday? He replied they didn't get to it. We moved are cars and didn't even see them work out on the road until the afternoon. What a joke of a company, can't get stuff done on time and doesn't respect people or their property. Come on city of Spokane hire a new contractor for your city streets. Wow! I had to add more because it's now past 5pm and the company is closed, but they got these guys still out here telling us to move are cars so they can work. Well you should communicate with the people who live in the neighborhood that you suck at what you do, and we can expect you to take several days longer. Anyways l just had to let everyone know that this company blows.

They take up several blocks at a time where people live, the lady with the silver Chevy truck is super rude. My dad recently died and I inherited his house just to have to deal with this nonsense. The garage is so full of stuff that parking on the street is my only option, and to be told my car is going to be towed for parking in front of my own damn house, yall are terrible human beings.

Clean off your trailer before you get on the freeway. It was full of loose gravel. Super dangerous for cars on the road. You guys should be more respectful of the community. Would take less than a minute to sweep that off.
