Sierra Nevada Construction, Inc

SNC do better and be more professional. The lack of consideration, communication, timeliness, and professionalism from this company is concerning. It has been a complete joke and inconvenience to watch them work on 4th street in front of our apartment complex. From failing to complete tasks the first time, constantly closing and opening our driveway without notice, failing to provide flaggers at our apartment complex entrance during one lane traffic alternating directions, grinding crooked joints into the sidewalk at 5am without any notice or good reason considering they leave and come back many days later, and being a complete safety hazard by allowing heavy equipment to cross active traffic without any flagging.

The new construction on Prater way is garbage. You might as well put speed bumps all up-and-down the road. Ever heard of a road roller. That street now is terrible. They have completely ruined it. Do the job right or don't do it. I've seen asphalt workers that are professionals do it before and there aren't bumps all up-and-down the road. You didn't even try. You should fire everybody on that crew and get yourself some new employees or a new general manager. Whoever is in charge doesn't inspect the work and doesn't even care. All you guys want is money. Congratulations on destroying the road, affecting people's shocks and tires.

YOU ARE REVIEW BOMBING THE WRONG COMPANY. For all of you review bombing based on the video of Bill Long destroying that lady’s mailbox, this is Sierra Nevada Construction. This is a paving contractor which has nothing to do with Sierra Construction Services. They don’t install mailboxes, they pave roads and parking lots…

Thank You SNC for Our new Streets and sidewalks!! They are Beautiful!! What a difference. NO problems getting out or parking etc. This crew is Amazing! VERY Courteous to All of us. It was Very high temperatures and they still kept working. 7am to 7pm. John Fralick Project Manager was on site making sure there were No delays. This was amazing. Very interesting watching them turn the old worn street into Beautiful pavement! They even Finished ahead of schedule!! It was so hot outside last 3 days but they kept rolling. Great crew and very nice to us All. Our street is SO Beautiful now and was long overdue. Our neighbors love it too.

This company did work on my street a few weeks ago. During the job they aloud a vehicle to drive through the slurry and turn around my driveway. Now I have oil tire marks half way up my driveway way! You would think they would just pressure wash it and clean it up right? Wrong! Sean Taylor at first was eager to help later telling me lie after lie! Said he would be at my place on Monday or Tuesday at the latest to clean it. Never showed up. Several follow up calls yielded negative results with excuse after excuse ranging from cost and who is going to pay for it to being busy and the putting the responsibility on the City of Reno! City of Reno risk management says they aren’t responsible and passed the buck back on this company and as of this review my driveway still has tire marks that look absolutely hideous. Thanks a lot Sierra Nevada Construction, your company is a class act! UPDATE: On 7/22/2019 this company called me and kindly explained they had worked out the politics and at about 12:30 a gentleman arrived and cleaned my driveway. Thank you!
