SMI Paving

I had my driveway paved by SMI Paving in June of 2025. Nine months later, a crack stretched across my “new” driveway. Long story short: I contacted SMI Paving, and to their credit, they came back out and repaired it. Photos attached. If you zoom in, you can barely tell where they patched it. From a distance, it still looks brand new… well, maybe if you squint, tilt your head, and close one eye. And here’s the part that really warms the soul: I later learned I could’ve had the whole thing poured in concrete for $6k by local folks who take pride in their work and don’t carry all that big‑company overhead. Instead, SMI Paving charged me $10k for an asphalt driveway that turned out to be… not all it was cracked up to be. Lesson learned. Some things shine, some things settle, and some things just teach you where not to spend your money again. - Jeff

SMI Paving milled and resurfaced a 456 by 20 feet wide driveway that provided access to the Sandy River Wastewater Treatment Facility for our company Chester Wastewater Recovery. They completed the job quickly, within budget, and the quality was excellent. I would recommend them for road paving projects.

They did our very long driveway and circle at Paws In The Panhandle Rescue And Adoption. Everyone on the crew was very professional and respectful and kind to our rescue animals. They took the time to hear our concerns and corrected some difficult areas on our driveway that collected water and repaved everything. They did everything in two days as promised. We absolutely and wholeheartedly would recommend them to anyone and everyone looking for Black top applications.

We were pleased with our parking lot makeover. We had our church parking lot cleaned, patched and seal coated. I would recommend and have recommended your Company to others. V. Sullivan

We hired SMI to redo our driveway. In an industry that seems to have a lot of one offs of questionable character, SMI was the opposite. They were very professional and very trustworthy. Their pricing was fair and their crews were excellent. We are very happy with their work and the level of professionalism.
