Came across this company while working at another job site in Jersey City where the city had their own staff closing off the street. I was able to make my way through for obvious reasons… emergency lights on and all. One of this company’s reps, the guy I spoke with and took a photo of, told me their work “takes priority and I’m blocking his crew.” Hey man, so does mine. We’re all out here trying to make a living and keep things moving. I parked up on the curb, made sure I wasn’t in anyone’s way, and still got attitude for no reason. If you’re representing a company with trucks and logos all over the place, remember you’re also representing how that company treats the public. Hopefully management takes this as constructive feedback, it’s not that hard to communicate respectfully with the general public and fellow contractors working in the trenches just like you.

They don’t finish the job when they say will, and it’s a huge inconvenience. They sent out a flyer to the residents on my street saying they were working on Wednesday, October 16th and to avoid parking our cars in our driveways for “3-4 days.” It’s now Monday, October 21st and they’re nowhere close to being finished. They worked every day except Sunday, and they start at 6:45 am (super loud), so no rest for me and my neighbors on the weekends. Plus, I have a doctor’s appointment and don’t know how I’ll be getting to it since they’re going over their schedule. If I have to take an Uber, I’m going to make them pay for it. Message to the company owner, if you’re not sure when your workers’ project is going to finish, give the residents who are impacted a better idea of when you’ll finish (saying more time is better than less) so they can plan accordingly. This is not ok. Update: It’s now Wednesday, October 23rd at 7:25 am and they’re still here working loudly and prohibiting anyone from leaving their driveways or parking on the street. Based on their progress, I anticipate they will work through the weekend.
