This South El Monte location is EXTREMELY rude. We had ordered and paid for pavers 2 years ago. Unfortunately life unexpectedly happened and we forgot about them, and didn’t get a call from them about the either. Apparently they sold our pavers. That’s totally fine since it’s been a while, but we asked for some store credit because we want to buy a lot more pavers. This store, including Robert and Brian, were angry at our request, saying “our calls our too time consuming”. Why not offer some customer service so that you can get more business from us? On the other hand, the Monrovia location is super helpful and wonderful. Go there instead!

This building material is one of the O.G.s Nationwide. They are knowledgeable and experienced. When you shop for a product, do expect some factors on some material. Also, you need to understand business like lead time and if there is a limit/minimum on some material. Also, if it's a special order, don't expect to make any modifications last minute because it's a special order. So, really know what you need/want because it's on you. This building material sells quality material and they have indoor shopping area as well.

What a rubbish company! When I just needed 120 6×9 floor tiles, they would sell you 150 and not tell you how many tiles they sold you. If you ask to modify your order before picking up the goods later, they will not agree to modify it for you, and tell you that the minimum they sell is half a pallet of bricks, which is really terrible. If people just want ten bricks, they're not going to give them to you for free, so why not buy them half a pallet of bricks? I really can’t imagine why such a company exists. It’s so rubb

Nice selection, great quality and great customer service. Paving my backyard myself, alittle at a time.

Services are getting worse. Prices are rubber band, one day you pay $100, another day you pay $130 for the same product. Don't deal with the tallest guy named Robert. Robert is nice sometime, but his quotes are always 30% higher than other guys at this location. I used to go here in the past 10 years but I am getting disappointed because I don't really want to come here anymore for my landscaping hobby.
