Southern Construction and Paving

I called Southern Construction and Paving for a quote to replace my terrible driveway. Mark came out and took the time to answer all of my questions and explain the process, and what to expect in detail. I decided to hire him and his crew over some other (much more expensive) quotes and I'm glad I did. In my case they were able to squeeze me in the next day. They left my property clean and in order, with a fresh new driveway that's gotten many positive comments from my neighbors. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

Southern Construction and Paving installed a brand new driveway for us. They left a rough spot right at a crucial vehicle turn in, back out point. We asked them to repair it. They made the bad spot worse (see photos). They then blamed the bad repair on us. Then they wanted to "fix it" by spraying some type of coating on top of their patch job. We had already paid for a sealer before they applied their "repair". The entire messed up situation took approximately 4 months. We did not trust their service at this point . We now will be resorting to spending more money to have this driveway repaired by someone else in the Spring. We do not recommend their service

Did the job as planned and priced. Good crew, left the job clean. Even seemed to enjoy directing traffic.

These people were top shelf in terms of quality of their work, attention to our requests and detail. Easy to work with and most importantly, they are good people. Would use them again without hesitation! They went an extra mile when adding a pull off to the existing driveway. Rather than putting down a cheap gravel base, they built up the pull off with eight inches of asphalt at no extra expense to us. This was done to ensure the integrity of the pull off for years to come. Use their services with confidence.
