Street Maintenance

Our HOA hired Jeff and his company last summer to repair several cracks in our neighborhood roads and resurface them. Initially, we were very pleased with the work and appreciated Jeff’s assurance that if any issues arose, he would stand behind his work and make things right. Unfortunately, within a few months, several of the repaired cut-out sections began sinking below the surface of the road, and some of the original cracks started reappearing. These were not new problem areas but issues related to the work that had been performed. When we contacted Jeff, he acknowledged the concerns and repeatedly assured our HOA president that he would return to address them. Over the course of many months, we were given multiple dates when repairs would supposedly be made, but Jeff never showed up. Each time, we were told another job had taken priority. One associate did eventually show and halfway filled a crack but realized the machinery would actually be needed and left his bucket of tar on the side of the road. Another associate came out to evaluate and said he felt the were issues with the primary work and would get with Jeff. Despite numerous follow-ups and repeated promises, no repairs have been made, and communication has effectively stopped. What is most disappointing is not the fact that a repair was needed—sometimes issues occur in construction projects. The problem is that the warranty work has never been honored despite repeated assurances that it would be. We had hoped to continue using this company for future projects, but based on our experience, we cannot recommend them and will be seeking another contractor moving forward. If Jeff would simply contact us and honor the warranty he promised, we would gladly update this review.

All scheduled work was flawless extra time was dedicated to ensuring all work was completed professionally, expertly and according to the contract. They were communicative and we will be recommending them to everyone. Hard working family business 5 star company.

I called American asphalt and they were very prompt to come out. They did the job the very next day. The price was super reasonable. I went with the asphalt Millings because it was cheaper than asphalt and I am super happy with my driveway. I was unsure at first, and I asked questions which they answered All very promptly. I highly recommend them.

From start to finish, they were excellent! I’ve had work done on my road before but nothing compares to their work! Highly recommend!
