I live in a new Ryan Home community. Suffern paving was hired by Ryan to do our top coat asphalt and several neighbors. They came out without notice the day of paving and did our driveway first. Apparently they do not assess the roads for dirt prior to starting the job since there is currently construction of other new homes. I assume they have been in business long enough to realize that dirt and the water needed on their roller to flatten the asphalt make mud. The finished product of my driveway were several streaks of mud from beginning of driveway to end and I mean several. In addition, One would think that after doing my home they would reassess their process before moving forward. . But no, they continued to do several other neighbors driveway making a muddy mess of theirs too. I called and left a message with Suffern no response. Their workers said the streaks of mud the whole length of the driveway would eventually come off. It’s an eyesore and I’m embarrassed that my driveway has to look like that until it allegedly wears off. Who knows when that will occur??? Nobody from the company could tell me. Suffern should have informed Ryan that the condition of the dirt road were not conducive to proceed with the paving. I know there are more important things in life put this was just poor quality of work without supervision.

We built a home that was finished in mid December 2020, and Suffern Asphalt was contracted to lay the topcoat of our asphalt driveway. I called several times (5+) beginning May 2021, attempting to get a date of completion. I finally got someone to answer the phone and when I asked for an estimated completion date, the woman on the phone laughed and said “we don’t really give out dates. We just send the workers addresses and they get to you when they can.” So incredibly unprofessional and just today am I getting the topcoat put on, almost an entire year from when they were contracted to do so.
