Sunland Asphalt

You guys are rude almost hit me pulling in and then got out the truck and ran into my car and just laughed. All so they could go to a smoke shop.

Sunland is not capable of doing large jobs well. Currently in the final phase of a $3m paving project in my community and it’s been a mess. They have done nothing to ensure safety and efficiency for residents during the project and as a result there have been cars parked clogging up the main road causing dangerous conditions for drivers and pedestrians. They haven’t had a hardly a single construction sign or any cones during the project just letting it become a free for all for people to do whatever. Due to the poor planning and management of the project the school buses eventually refused to enter the community to pick up children. The quality of the work is ok, nothing great. Some areas the concrete curbs and drains are scratched and scuffed up badly. Don’t choose this company for your community!

This company is working in our community of 500-600 homes and has done a poor job staggering work and has put out zero construction work signs out making it unsafe and impossible in places to travel on the busy, main road. We called into the hotline never got a response. They have made a complete hassle for weeks and cut off school bus service to several families. This company only cares about their bottom line and not residents. The dump trucks are more respectful than their workers in their company pickup trucks speeding through community and parking in the roadway. Asphalt looks good in our section of community but terrible in others.

This company was hired by city of Glendale to resurface our residential streets. The signage to stay off fresh slurry was non existent. They should have had yellow tape up or cones blocking driveways. The flier to give notice of project was 2 yrs old and just said roads were going to have sealing done. Never said anything about relocating vehicles because leaving your driveway would do damage to car and road. I had to call to get date and times and instructions. VERY INCOMPETENT. Read reviews city of Glendale, not go with lowest bid.

One of their 4×4 trucks was in show low, Az damn near ran me off the road cause they can't read road signs that say get over. They were beside me almost hit me to where I had to hope I wasn't gonna get hit cause they were pushing their way In. Maybe next time I'll just let them hit me so the company has to pay for my car out of pocket since they obviously refuse to call me to take care of this problem. Tried driving away so I couldn't get plate number.
