I had an extremely upsetting experience with Superior Ready Mix Concrete. My contractor — not me — ordered concrete from them for my backyard remodel. The delivery trucks arrived and poured the concrete, but then the company turned around and demanded that I personally pay the bill, even though I never placed the order and had already paid my contractor for both labor and materials. When I explained that the contractor had the funds and was responsible for payment, their representatives refused to listen. They told me I was liable simply because the concrete was poured on my property. They pressured, intimidated, and threatened me, saying they would charge $250 per minute in “late fees” if I didn’t pay immediately. Under extreme stress and feeling bullied, I was forced to pay — effectively paying for the same materials twice. This was one of the most dishonest and distressing experiences I’ve had with a company. Their lack of ethics, false threats, and refusal to communicate professionally should concern any homeowner or contractor considering working with them. I am sharing my experience so others can be aware and take precautions. Always confirm who is financially responsible before any delivery from this company — and get everything in writing.

There’s so much pollution coming from this plant, it’s impossible to open windows from 8am to 5pm, and you can smell it up to 2 miles away. Literally poisoning the neighborhood.

A nice place. Highway-15's North and South on and off ramps. Are with in a 2 block radius of the business. Th 78-Freeway is only 4 or 5 blocks south. From the the Yards exit gate. Not too far away from surrounding San Diego County towns/cities. To pick up materials such as sand, gravel, hot asphalt, asphalt and concrete grindings. As well as, Fill Dirts, Base Materials/Cap Grade Materials. Also have a water truck fill point and much more I'm sure. Escondido sand and gravel is small, but very efficient with their use of space. To me it seems to be a safe place to pick up materials. Hard hats and Safety vests are REQUIRED for EVERYONE. That are outside of their vehicle or a building. The process of material management, pick-up and departure. The Load Points and Scale House in all. Is fast, safe, and efficient.
