The woman working at the scale house, Aracely Ayala, gave me one of the most disrespectful experiences I’ve had as a truck driver. She was rude, dismissive, and spoke to me in a condescending way from the moment I arrived. I felt like she was trying to embarrass me because my English isn’t perfect, instead of simply helping me do my job. Professionalism and respect cost nothing, but unfortunately neither was shown. If this is how drivers are treated, management needs to step in because one employee with this attitude can damage the company’s reputation. I experienced this firsthand, and I hope no other driver has to go through the same treatment.

Very kind group of folks, nice establishment, good products. Just be careful driving through the facility, don't drive too quickly like I did and hit the bumps!

I have video footage of one of these trucks damaging vehicles on highway 29. I tried to call the number the truck driver gave me and the dispatcher hung up on me. I think this place should be reported to KRON news investigates and to the department of transportation for putting dirty gravel trucks and cement trucks on the highway without cleaning the vehicles of debris before entering the roadways.

I’ll start by saying if I could give zero stars I would. Although the website and google shows they close at 3:30pm, the woman working in the scale trailer denied scale service when I got there at 3:18pm. She said they closed at 3:15pm (literally 3 mins before I arrived) instead of 3:30pm- I’m not sure if this is because it is Friday but this is POOR SERVICE. Then I asked for a manager’s contact info and she said she did not have his number but his name was Burt and that he is also gone for the day and will reopen Monday at 7am. I didn’t get a chance to get her name because she got into her white truck and closed the door quickly. So I decided to call the phone number from the website and the representative did CONFIRM the closing time is 3:30pm when the gates are closed, and apologized on behalf of the scale service associate who closed early since there’s nothing she could do to assist further. To top it off, they are closed this weekend.... THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!!

For a local business the cares and concerns of Napa, or it's citizens, take back seat to making a dollar. I grew up on Elder Drive, a hill in the back of the Napa State Hospital, and the earthquake feeling when they were exploding was exciting and a part of my childhood. It's been disappointing as an adult to know about the actual business side of Syar Industries.
