TAG Asphalt and Concrete

Avoid This Company – Poor Quality, Property Damage, and Unprofessional Ownership. I hired this company in September 2024 to replace my walkway and garage apron. In less than a year, after the first winter the concrete started crumbling and falling apart 6 months after the job was done. After the second winter, more crumbling. To make matters worse, their crew damaged my front step chipping off a piece of it during the installation and never repaired it. Getting in touch with them has been an absolute nightmare. I reached out on April 24th with no response, followed up on April 27th, and have been given the runaround for nearly three months. Today (July 15th), I finally received a call from who I presume was the owner, Tim. Instead of standing behind his company's work, he offered to "split the cost" with me to replace the defective concrete. Expecting a customer to pay a second time to fix a job that failed in under a year is completely unacceptable and highly unprofessional. Meanwhile two of my neighbors replaced their aprons a few years back and it still looks flawless today, not a single chip, crack or crumble. This is a dishonest way to run a business. Because of their subpar work, property damage, and refusal to make things right, I will be filing a formal complaint with the BBB and pursuing legal action. Save yourself the headache and money, do not use this company. Response to your unaccountability, This response is full of holes and reads like a textbook script to avoid accountability. First, trying to blame Minnesota winters or deicing salt is a pathetic excuse for subpar workmanship. Not only have I never used salt on my drive way before or after your job but my neighbors all had their aprons replaced by actual professional companies. We share the exact same climate, the exact same winters, and the exact same street, yet their aprons don't have a single chip or a shred of scaling. The problem isn't the environment, the problem is the inferior product an

TAG has been a pleasure to work with. We approached the spring of 2026 with a 24,000 sq ft concrete project along with parking lot asphalt repair and sealcoating. TAG offered a competitive bid, was able to start the concrete work within a week of quoting, and the crew was professional and cleaned up after themselves. It's common to have questions and concerns throughout a project of this size, and the stellar communication from project manager Sam Olsen, allowed us to address our concerns and ensure we were happy with the finished product. I would highly recommend them for any concrete and asphalt projects you might have.

As a property manager, TAG has been great to work with. Their communication is clear, the quality of work is excellent, and both the Board and Owners have been very satisfied.

I can not recommend TAG enough. I work with many asphalt and concrete company's. TAG has never let me down on any project. I often work directly with Sean Luck at Tag Concrete and Asphalt on asphalt and concrete projects, and they’ve been great to work with every time. I’ve sent multiple requests for estimates, and their pricing is always very competitive. Sean and his team are professional, friendly, and easy to work with. His communication is fantastic, which makes everything go smoothly from start to finish. Projects are always completed efficiently with beautiful results.
