Total Paving and Brick Services did an excellent job with removing and re-laying our patio and walkway pavers. The manager’s communication from beginning to end was clear and consistent as to when the job would begin and also throughout the project. The job itself was done in a timely manner. The men who performed the project (which took a few days due to the size of the job and weather) were professional and thorough. The patio/walkway looks fantastic. Also, the price for what all had to be done was reasonable. I would recommend Total Paving and Brick Services to anyone who needs this service.

Just had our asphalt drive and concrete porch replaced by Total Paving and couldn't be happier with the results! Concrete was replaced with block pavers. Both the pavers and new asphalt drive look terrific! All three crews (demo, pavers, asphalt) were on time, courteous, and efficient. The office staff also went above and beyond, as let's just say we had some "challenges" with our permit office. I would recommend them without hesitation!

The job is 2 years old and the concrete is peeling because they over diluted the mix to save money. The submerged gutter drainage system also completely collapsed during the first real rainstorm we had. Update: Please read the business's response below with caution. Total Paving returned to our home but refused to take accountability. First, they falsely claimed we used driveway salt and left cars parked on the concrete over the winter. We did neither of these things ever. Next, they blamed a "bad batch" of concrete from their supplier. We contacted their supplier ourselves and obtained the batch documentation, which did not appear to show any obvious indication of defective concrete mix. They offered to patch-repair the damage, but they were still going to charge us to full price seal it afterwards despite this only being a 2.5-year-old driveway showing premature deterioration. After seeking outside opinions from another contractor, additional concerns were raised regarding the original installation and finishing process. The contractor noted that the concrete may have been brushed/finished while still too wet and also raised concerns regarding the slab thickness and broader surface weakness beyond the visibly affected areas. Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience.

The Prep-Team and the Paving Team did an excellent job on my driveway. Both crews were very friendly! Everyone on both teams knew their job. It was very well orchestrated. I would definitely recommend them. They also replaced my culvert.

We hired this company about two years ago to repave our parking lot. The primary reason for replacing the lot was ongoing puddling issues, which we discussed multiple times during the estimating process. Proper drainage and correcting the pitch were clearly communicated as priorities before the project began. After the new asphalt was installed, this company also poured new concrete in front of our dumpsters. The concrete was poured higher than the surrounding asphalt, and this has become one of the main issues. The elevated concrete appears to be hindering proper drainage for the entire parking lot. Since the project was completed, the puddling has actually become worse than it was before the lot was replaced. In addition, after completion we began experiencing new problems that we had never had in the eight years prior, including water running into our building. Every time it rains, I now have rivers of water flowing into our interior drains. This was never an issue before the project. The same puddling in the middle of the parking lot remains, creating a safety hazard for employees walking to and from their vehicles. The company returned and cut into the brand-new asphalt to try to adjust the pitch. The puddling still remained. They then cut into it again to attempt further drainage corrections. I withheld final payment until the work was properly addressed. George, one of the managers, shook my hand and assured me they would make it right and return to complete the job properly. When they came back for what was supposed to be the final repair, the crew was onsite for less than two hours and did not complete the items we discussed, including properly tying in seams to prevent future issues. There are now seams throughout the parking lot that are not properly joined, which is causing additional problems with snow removal. The puddles are still present, there are raised areas where patches were made, and the asphalt now rises in front of one of our service door
