Our experience with Touchstone/ Stone touch company and John was extremely disappointing and UNPROFESSIONAL. The company installed pavers at our home without obtaining a permit. Even after a representative from the town visited our property to inquire about the work being performed, John assured us that no permit was required. After the project was completed, the town informed us that the patio exceeds the allowable impervious coverage and that a significant portion of the pavers must now be removed to comply with local regulations. When we contacted John to address the issue, he refused to remove the pavers unless we paid additional money, despite the fact that we already paid approximately $28,000 for the project. During our most recent phone conversation, John acknowledged that a permit should have been obtained before the work began. We are now left dealing with the consequences and the additional expense of correcting the situation. Based on our experience, I DO NOT recommend this company. I encourage anyone considering hiring them to verify that all required permits will be obtained before work begins and to ensure those commitments are documented in writing.

John fixed our steps and posts on our front porch. He understood exactly how we wanted the finished product to look and delivered on his promise. He gave us a fair and honest price and didn’t try to upsell us into something we didn’t want. We will definitely use him for others masonry projects in the future and would highly recommend him to others!

Signed contract with Touch Stone (Miles and Jeremiah) Paving and Masonry on 8/18/22. Contract was to demolish and rebuild 2 staircases along with the walkway between the staircases. The staircases are incorrectly built, and not complete, and the walkway between the staircases is completely unfinished. I asked for Limestone caps and pavers were used instead. They also used quick concrete. Touch Stone has received $9,500 of the agreed upon $13,000 for said job. Touchstone needs to refund value of labor and materials that have not been used/performed. For instance, $3,000 was given to Touch Stone for pavers that were never delivered or installed. Miles "it's a wee little job, I didn't steal your money" and Jeremiah "The Boss", where is my $9,500?

We just had Touch Stone do our our driveway. Myles and his crew were wonderful. I've never had a contractor not take a deposit prior to starting a job. He does the job, makes sure you are satisfied and then he'll get payment. He was a professional through and through. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM.
