The Owner of Best Blacktop company , Ty Huber is very unprofessional, rude and incompetent. I paid him to install a new driveway at my residence, he completed it on October 2022. In less than 2 years of completion of my driveway, I noticed cracks on the driveway. I reached out to his wife Desiree, who claimed that she has forwarded my complaint with the pictures to her husband Ty. Ty, disregarded my complaint, never cared to reach out to address my concern. After some multiple calls and texts to his wife , I got an email from him, claiming that the crack was due to the age of the driveway "Good morning The Office forwarded me your message about the crack in your driveway. Based on the age of the driveway, it would be time to seal coat. " this is a new driveway, less than 3 years. I told him that i disagreed with his assertion and reminded him that the job was less than three years old. At this time, he responded with a different reason by trying to blame it on Minnesota weather. This is a clear case of inconsistency and defective materials. Ty, was more concerned with making excuses instead of admitting that he did a very bad job and look for ways to satisfy his client. I sincerely regret using this company and I will never recommend their services to anyone.

Poorly I stalled Driveway Poor job and very rude communication. Had this company do my driveway end of 2022. When they finished their work in the drive way, they left their trash behind and didn’t cleanup properly. We let this slide. However, several months later, the entire drive way was filled with cracks. We reached out to the wife Desiree, and she said she will forward the complain to TY. We kept reaching out and after over a month of constantly reaching out to them with no response, TY finally responded to our email and said they won’t do anything about it. He was so unprofessionally rude that he said that was the last time he’ll discuss the matter. We regret working with this company. Their poor customer service is completely unacceptable. Though this damage is still under their 3 year warranty, they have refused to take responsibility of their poor installation, poor material and services. We do not recommend working with this company at all.
