Ulland Brothers - Albert Lea

About 5 years ago I wanted to have a asphalt driveway. I had a a driveway done with recycled asphalt already in. My driveway is 15ft by 35, 525sq feet. Ulland said about 7 grand.. I found that to be a wee bit high. I was informed that they're road machines cost 300 thousand. OK, their justification. So I found a outfit that quoted me 3 grand. But it had to be on the downlow because they buy their asphalt from ulland's, image that. They control it all apparently. So now I know why stuff doesn't get done or remolded in Albert lea because it's monopolize by ullands.. thought I let the public know

UB is working on the Highway 22/109 project in Wells. Both my wife and myself work from home so crews are working outside our office windows. It would be awesome if crews would put the cellphone down and pay attention to what is going on. It would be even better if the crews zipping around in the red pickups would also pay attention and at least do a rolling stop at the stop signs in the area. The area is heavy on families with young children and elderly residents. We, as residents, are expected to slow down, pay attention and be careful navigating around the construction zone. It would be appreciated if the crews would do the same.

They are redoing Lakewood road and doing a excellent job. I had them pave my driveway they did a excellent job.

They are working on the Bridge Ave. project. A year ago today they cut down my little library without my consent. They promised to have it back up and running and here we are a year later and it is yet to be done!! The photo is how they left my library after cutting it down. As it was to start raining. After being approached they covered it! Put my library up!!!
