Vandalia Blacktop & Sealcoating, Inc.

Vandalia Blacktop sealcoated all the streets and driveways in our condo community. They did a great job! They showed up on time, did a thorough job of cleaning before sealcoating, and then applied the coating at a reasonable price. We were very pleased with their work. Highly recommend.

I had a quote from vandalia blacktop to redo my driveway. They said it all need tore out and I was going to have it widened and 1,000 square foot added to it. But after reading these reviews, I think I'm going to be looking for a different company. I'm very glad that people shared their input and their photographs on here. It has changed my mind and swayed my decision to look for a different company. Thank you

I have worked with Vandalia Blacktop for over 20 years on various projects. They are always courteous and professional. Congratulations on 50 years in the industry! Special thanks to Dave, Tony, Davey & Aaron. We look forward to many more years of our successful partnership. Ryan Beier/The Brewer Company

Poor quality of prepping led to softening of the asphalt. Just argued about fixing it! We just had to pay Gradeco $11,000 to fix what Vandalia Blacktop would not! When it was opened up it was obvious that poor workmanship on Vandalia Blacktop’s part caused it. I would never use this company ever again. They are awful. They wanted us to remove this. We talked with an attorney and they stated that it would cost us more than the $12,000 it cost us to repair it so we didn’t follow up with legal action. If they want to reimburse us the $12,000 it cost us to fix their improperly installed blacktop I am happy to say they stood behind their mistake and remedied it! We did not have any heavy equipment on it other than our RV which is normal use. The only heavy duty equipment on our driveway was trucks that belong to Vandalia Blacktop. We are happy to show the owner if he wants to come out and discuss it. We are not slanderous just expressing how our situation was. How do they explain no gravel beneath 1” of blacktop? We were business owners and knew the importance of standing behind our quality of work!

What a great company, work was completed in a timely manner. It was a pleasure to watch the workers cut up with each other as they did this job in the staggering heat. No hesitation in recommending this company.
