Viking Construction's work on Diablo Drive in Pflugerville is an absolute disgrace. The difference in quality compared to Butler National, the next street over, is staggering. Butler National was properly re-graded and repaved, resulting in a smooth, durable surface. Meanwhile, Viking just dumped asphalt on Diablo Drive in a single day without proper prep, leaving gaping holes and uneven surfaces. It's like they didn't even try. This isn't just a minor inconvenience; it's a blatant waste of taxpayer money and a slap in the face to everyone living here. Pflugerville officials need to be held accountable for hiring such a subpar contractor with a 2.1-star rating. If this is the standard of decision-making in our city, then it's time to rethink who we trust with these responsibilities. This level of incompetence can't be ignored—residents are outraged, and we deserve better. Pflugerville, do better or get ready to hear from all of us come election time

Whoever drives this truck tried to run me off the road. How unprofessional and incompetent. I wouldn’t trust this quality of person to perform quality work. I had my child in the car.

This company is not professional at all. They came and repaved our neighborhood and the road is worse now . Then a company truck was found behind our house with a worker sleeping in it at 3 am. This truck was not even near there equipment. It was about a mile down road from where they had other equipment parked . If this company is out of Georgetown then he can go home to sleep not on someone's property. His truck was running with windows covered . Then they have also left empty water bottles on a brick area when you first turn on our road.

As I'm in my driveway this morning a man pulls up in a Viking construction truck telling me they're repaving my roads. I asked where my notice was because I got one last week and rearranged my plans to accommodate the road paving only to be told that their equipment broke and they were doing it today. I told him I got no notice which is when he told me I did 2 days ago. Well if I would've had a notice I wouldn't be acting surprised. I told him I have a repairman coming and his response in a very snarky manner was oh well, he can walk from blocks away. Really? A repairman with his tools is supposed to walk to my house. I have an entire day that has been ruined because of their lack of professionalism. The "office manager" must feel absolutely useless seeing as when I called she told me she sends out emails and fields complaints all day but nothing changes. Her response was basically oh well. When I told her what happened she told me that was the vice president and she's never had complaints on him. So I'm a liar now too. Either way, this company is rude and unprofessional. Our city government will be hearing about this in hopes that they never use this company again.

I haven't used this company but one of their drivers tried to run me off of the road. He was in an auto crane truck with the company logo on it. He didn't like that I got in between him and another Viking truck so he got into the adjacent lane and ran me off the road to reclaim his spot. I had 2 small children with me in the car at the time. I'm grateful I was able to avoid him by braking and swerving but it was very scary and is not how you should drive, especially when you're representing your company. License plate was HDY 4239.
