Walton Contracting

I highly recommend W.R. Walton Contracting, Billerica, for driveway replacement. It removed my deteriorating 130 ft asphalt driveway and replaced it with a properly-leveled and thoroughly deep & compacted base, topped with new asphalt, in one day. What I liked: the personal visit by sales; a clear explanation of work to be performed; a timely & detailed quote; and frequent communications in scheduling a convenient project date. Plus, on the day of project work, its Team arrived timely; its team leader introduced himself and confirmed the expected procedures; followed by diligent progress with very synchronized efforts by every team member. At completion, the quality was high, in my opinion. After old asphalt was removed, painstaking and lengthy efforts were taken to re-level, properly slope (for drainage) and firmly compress the underlying base. It was impressive to observe. The Team also completed a thorough cleanup (and no abutting plants, lawn or sidewalks had been disturbed.) Lastly, W.R. Walton’s owner visited twice; once mid-morning and then at completion. I much appreciated his attention to detail and the owner’s standard of high quality work that his team delivered. What I did not like: nothing. In my vernacular: “damn, they were good.” Ken S. Highly recommend! They were very professional and completed my project within just 4 hours. The crew was friendly, well-organized, and came fully equipped with heavy-duty machinery. I’m very glad I chose to do business with this company.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Professional, knowledgeable, great communication at all times. The crew came in after already doing 2 jobs and absolutely went above and beyond. We will be having them back for a very large driveway next year 💯! HIGHLY RECCOMEND THEM. Also the whole family works for the company!

WOW!! WOW!! WOW!!!! Professional, timely, reasonably priced, fun!! They showed up when they said they would; and they killed it when it comes to paving a new area and repaving my old driveway. HIGHLY recommend!! Thank you to Linda, Chris and the rest of the team!

Chris and the team from Walton replaced our driveway (see pic) and added aprons and edging of cobblestones. The finished product is spectacular, and working with Chris was a delight as he embraced and realized our plans so well; we had confidence in him and his crew from first meeting.
