Wegener Asphalt Paving Inc

I would give them a zero if I could. I called to get a quote to have my driveway sealed. Received the quote by email and accepted the bid. When the sealing crew arrived, they refused to do the work for the price I was bid. They said they had to speak with a manager and would get back to me. After several hours, I called and spoke with Chris who said “I don’t think the bid is right, but Patrick is gonna have to handle this”. OK still waiting for Patrick to handle this. Texted many times then I got a response from Patrick ”We could put you on for tomorrow it’s a beautiful day.” I responded with “OK we’ll see you tomorrow.” However, they never showed up. I’ve sent more texts asking when they’re going to come. No response, still waiting. We are now three weeks into this process. The complete lack of courtesy and communication is appalling. If you make a mistake, you should be able to man up, admit it and have a conversation to resolve it. Bait and switch.

I highly recommend Wegener. They were able to help me last minute with my driveway while preparing my home for sale. The weather has been very unpredictable in St. Louis. They came within days of making contact to avoid the rain. I'm very happy with the completed job sealing the driveway. Very fair and reasonable price.

One of their drivers was looking down on their phone while driving, which caused a accident, which caused my car to get rear ended. The company will not pay for 100% of the fix, forcing me to pay out of pocket if I want my car back to the way it was. They have denied me and the BBB any type of mediation to solve this issue. I would avoid this company, they obviously won't take care of the people they victimize.

For asphalt driveways, and based on my experience, they're the best in the St. Louis region. I had a narrow, rather challenging job that every other contractor shied away from. Wegner took the job for a totally reasonable price and the outcome is excellent.

Very satisfied with the service provided for the relay of the driveway . Price was right as well . After it cured for the recommended time we called them back to seal it . I will use this company going forward and recommend them .
