Western Grade LLC

Absolutely EXCEPTIONAL customer service, more than fair price, accommodating and professional- I cannot recommend this company enough. We have a fairly long driveway that has been in need of re-graveling but have held off due to worry about cost and sourcing a reliable supplier, yet didn’t want to go through another winter of tracking in mud. I called around to all of the local suppliers on Monday but kept getting voicemails. Sage from Western Grade’s office called me back (even though I didn’t leave a message) and impressed me with her knowledge and willingness to earn my business (something that doesn’t seem to be common up here). I drove to their office to look at samples and we settled on the 3/4” natural river rock. Beautiful stone and great quality. So much better than the sparse pea gravel and cinders we’ve been living with. That evening the owner, Kevin, called to go over the gravel choice and delivery and I was, again, impressed with his great attitude, kindness, knowledge, and excellent customer service. He does his business credit and I will most definitely be working with him again when we are ready for our backyard. Our delivery driver, Shane, was punctual and professional. He was able to navigate our fenced driveway with skill and didn’t leave me panicking about the safety of my, and my neighbor’s, fences. Competent large vehicle operators have my utmost respect (I could never! 😅). He was friendly and willing to help us cover our driveway instead of just dumping the whole load (15 tons) in one pile, which took more time and effort that he wasn’t required to provide but did so. I’m truly thankful for his assistance, it will help my husband make less passes and have an easier time spreading. Again, I highly recommend Western Grade for any of your gravel/cinder needs. They are not only professional but FRIENDLY and their customer service is such a rarity and relief. 15 tons $482.52 delivered Our measurement needs: 1,408 sqft (2” deep)

We recently had Western Grade re-gravel/level our self storage facility drive isles. They were available to answer our questions, and maintained communication with us throughout the project. We recommend to contact Tim/Juli at Western Grade for any asphalt/gravel projects.

I ordered 25 yards of cinders from this company. I was told they would call me to set up a date for delivery. I spoke with Paul twice, and both times asked about a delivery date and he did not give me one. Then they attempted to deliver while I was asleep (night shift worker) and left me numerous messages saying they were here and where was I. I told them that had they told me ahead of time, (like I had been told was going to happen) I would have been ready for them. They the gave me a date. The delivery driver was polite and the cinders were exactly what and how much I wanted. The price I was charged was $50 more than the total I had been given on the phone. I contacted Paul and he said that was a trucking fee and they probably hadn’t told me about that. When the price was $250 more than the same load I purchased last year, I figured it was inflation. To then spring an additional $50 on me and have such a non chalant attitude about it just rubs me the wrong way. I feel as though they should honor their quoted price. The price that I agreed to pay when I ordered the rock. I can’t help but wonder if this was due to them having to drive out here twice. However that was their own doing. I was told they would arrange a date with me and they did not do so. To then charge me an additional fee for their own negligence is unacceptable. I will not be using this company again, and I will be spreading the world that they are not honorable or professional people to deal with. Update * I have changed my review as Sage from the office called me and stated that she would waive the $50 fee since I was not told about it beforehand and charge me only the original quoted price. She went out of her way to make things right and I appreciate that.

Western Grade LLC has been great to work with. Steve P. is been very valuable in taking our vision and translating that to a comprehensive plan for our grading and elevation needs. A big Thank You!

Western Grade, is an excellent place to buy all your yard, garden and road building materials. Reasonable prices and fast delivery. Western Grade always donated to all the our community fund raisers and stepped-up to the plate when we needed materials (for the students play-ground) to eliminate a muddy situation at the schools. Thanks for always being there. H & K Winderweedle
